Game night ideas
Two people or a full table? Find a simple game you can start without studying a rulebook.

Your starting points
Keep the rules shorter than the evening
Choose a format everyone can understand in a minute. Charades works when the group likes moving; a collaborative story works better when everyone prefers talking. Prepare a few prompts before people arrive, then let the group change the rules if a round drags.
For two or three people, guessing games can be more natural than team formats. With a larger group, set a short turn limit so everyone participates. These are game formats you can run with paper and conversation, not recommendations for products in a shop.
